Karen is a Senior Programmer Analyst and database developer at HealthPartners Research Foundation where she has worked since 2001.
She received her BA in Mathematics from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN.
She has extensive experience applying her technical and analytical skills to the extraction, layout and interpretation of complex healthcare claims and electronic medical record data.
On the Keep It Off study, Karen will manage extraction and processing of electronic medical record data.
Her database expertise has contributed to the development of analytical databases for numerous other research projects related to physical activity and weight including Keep Active Minnesota and Healthy Homes/Healthy Kids.
